Turquoise Lake, Colorado

My in laws live in Colorado, over the summer Bryan (my husband) and I went and visited them. One of the days we went fishing at the lake in the mountains called Turquoise Lake, it was so beautiful.





During the trip it started raining pretty hard, we started walking towards the truck and the sky was clearing. We headed to a different spot as the sky cleared. This was the sweet spot, we ended up catching 7 fish, in the next couple hours. Bryan was using yellow powerbait, and I was using lures and a worm.  Beautiful browns and rainbows. We did catch and release because we were heading back to Utah the next day. It was such a fun time catching tons of fish with my husband, in a beautiful state.



What I love most about fishing is how you can go anywhere and its the same, just go buy a license, look up some spots online, and go fishing.
